Hypertext - the organization of information units into connected associations. An instance of such an
association is called a "link," "hypertext link," or "hyperlink."
Internet - a worldwide system of computer networks - a network of networks in which users at any one
computer can get information from any other computer.
Internet mail address - a string of bytes containing the character @. Basically, the address is in the
format: mailbox@domainname The mailbox part is everything before the @ symbol and the domain name
part of an address is everything after the final @. For example,

some suggestions on choosing mail addresses for the Internet:
• Do not use non -ASCII characters.
• Do not use ASCII control characters such as: \0 , \012 and \015.
• Avoid spaces, backslashes, double quotes, <, >, brackets, parentheses, semicolons, commas,
and colons.
• Do not use @ in the mailbox part.
• Do not use two consecutive dots, a dot at the beginning, or a dot at the end in the mailbox part.
• Do not use an empty mailbox part.
